Erectile dysfunction after stroke affects far more people than you might think. First and foremost because it’s a taboo we don’t talk about when it comes to stroke.
In 2020, I helped Birger Kjærbye with treatment of spasticity in muscles and erectile dysfunction after a stroke, due to a very high stress level over a long period of time.
International speaker & expert in shockwave and EMTT treatment for erectile dysfunction, peyronies & CPPPS.
When Birger had his stroke, he was already working on a film project about his businesses, but he decided to change it to follow his road back to life in his rehabilitation process in collaboration with Brain Cause.
Therefore, there is also footage from the clinic and the treatment of erectile dysfunction after stroke with shockwave and EMTT in the movie, which I am of course very happy about.
The recordings are from 2020, so a lot has happened in the clinic’s protocols, and the work with Birger also helped to further develop the treatment of erectile dysfunction as a result of complex neurological events, which means that the clinic today provides treatment second to none in the Nordic region in connection with complex erectile dysfunction.
The full, and very moving, broadcast about Birger’s road back on track can be seen below. It gets you thinking about life. Here you can also see what Birger says about his potency after the treatment with me, after a stroke. But as a teaser, he was very happy and satisfied with the result, it gave “little Birger” the journey back.
A stroke can have a significant impact on a man’s quality of life, including the ability to get and maintain an erection. Many men experience erectile dysfunction/erectile dysfunction after a stroke, but luckily there are various treatment options that can help you get back on track.

Are you unsure about what’s causing your symptoms, or whether a specialized treatment program at our clinic in Copenhagen would be right for you? If so, you can start with a brief, confidential consultation. During this consultation, we’ll assess whether your symptoms align with the areas I specialize in at MS Insight and determine what the next appropriate step might be.
The clarifying conversation is not a full consultation, diagnosis or treatment plan. It’s for those who want a serious assessment of whether it makes sense to proceed with a more thorough examination, ultrasound scan and individual plan.
The clinic is a private clinic offering an alternative treatment setup to the public system with shockwave, EMTT and NESA X for sexual dysfunctions and especially erectile dysfunction, peyronies and pelvic pain.
