About Michael Strøm and MS Insight

Specialized Care for Erectile Dysfunction, Peyronie’s Disease, Incontinence, and Pelvic Pain

When you experience erectile dysfunction, impotence, Peyronie’s disease, incontinence, pelvic pain, or other persistent functional impairment, it’s rarely just a matter of finding a treatment. First, it’s about understanding why the problem has arisen, and then treating it accordingly.

At MS Insight, we therefore don’t start with a standard solution and a set number of sessions. We begin with a thorough, confidential, and clinical assessment of what is most likely driving your symptoms. Only once we’ve identified the cause does it make sense to choose the type of treatment.

Shockwave, EMTT and clinical assessment with ultrasound are therefore used in a targeted and individualized way, not as a standard solution. But as part of a more accurate and honest clinical process. This leads to better decisions, more realistic expectations and greater confidence along the way.

Meet Michael Strøm in person

MS Insight is a specialized private clinic in Copenhagen focused on men’s health, sexual function, pelvic-related issues, and select treatment programs for incontinence and chronic pain in women.

When you arrive at the clinic, you’ll meet Michael directly. You won’t be shuffled through a system or passed along to different practitioners. Michael is responsible for your assessment, treatment plan, and care. For many, this in itself is an important part of feeling at ease.

Michael is an internationally recognized shockwave expert, sexologist, and keynote speaker. In addition to the clinic’s day-to-day operations, he works as a consultant and instructor for the shockwave manufacturers MTS Medical and Elvation Wolf on an international level.

This gives you access to a rare combination of clinical experience, technological insight, and practical understanding of how different treatment methods should be used in real-world practice—and when they should not be used.

Since 2020, Michael has taught courses on shockwave therapy for sexual dysfunction to doctors and other practitioners in more than 25 countries.

Michael previously had a career in the military and competed in triathlons at a high level.

The focus is not on selling you a one-size-fits-all treatment

A thorough clinical assessment isn’t about making everything sound like the right solution. It’s about being honest about the possibilities, limitations, and likely outcomes.

Some clients are ideal candidates for shockwave therapy. Others need a broader strategy in which EMTT, pelvic floor therapy, lifestyle changes, diagnostics, or other interventions play an important role. In some cases, it’s just as important to explain what a treatment can’t do as what it can. And for that reason, the clinic may not offer you treatment if it’s not deemed relevant.

At MS Insight, our goal is therefore not to pressure you into a treatment plan, but to help you understand your situation and choose the right next step. For many, this is precisely where the greatest sense of security comes from: in the experience of being taken seriously, receiving a clear explanation, and meeting a specialist who doesn’t rely on standard models.

Advanced assessment leads to more precise treatment plans

Many symptoms in this area appear similar on the surface but can have very different causes.

This applies, among other things, to:

  • Erectile Dysfunction and Impotence

  • Peyronie’s Disease, Penile Curvature, and Bent Penis

  • Pelvic Pain and Pudendal Nerve-Related Symptoms

  • Incontinence and Impaired Function

  • Chronic Pain and Persistent Irritation

That is why clinical assessment and ultrasound scanning are often an important part of the work at MS Insight. Not just for show, but as a concrete tool for providing greater clarity.

Once it becomes clearer whether the problem is primarily related to blood flow, tissue, plaque, nerve involvement, tension patterns, or the pelvic floor, it also becomes easier to determine:

  • Whether shockwave therapy is appropriate

  • Whether EMTT and laser therapy should be included

  • Whether the treatment should be combined with other interventions

  • And what expectations should be set from the start

This makes the treatment courses more targeted and more transparent.

Why patients choose MS Insight

Many clients choose the clinic not only because of the treatment, but also because of the way the staff works.

At MS Insight, you’ll get:

  • A Confidential and Secure Process

  • Direct contact with Michael

  • Focus on the underlying cause of the symptoms

  • Advanced assessment with clinical relevance

  • Realistic management of expectations

  • A more tailored plan rather than a standard treatment regimen

That is also why patients from all over Denmark and the rest of the Nordic region seek out the clinic in Copenhagen.

The first step should feel manageable

For many people, the hardest part isn’t the treatment itself. It’s making that first contact.

Problems such as erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, incontinence, and pelvic pain often have an impact that goes far beyond the purely physical. They can affect self-image, relationships, physical well-being, and confidence that things can get better.

That’s why the first step shouldn’t feel like pressure. It should feel like the beginning of finding clarity.

At MS Insight, our goal from the very first contact is to create a sense of calm, clarity, and the assurance that you’ll be treated professionally and confidentially. No judgment. No pressure. Just taken seriously.

A Different Approach to Treatment

MS Insight isn’t built around the idea that one treatment fits all. The clinic is built around the idea that good treatment starts with a better understanding of the problem.

This is the approach we take across the board—whether it’s erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease, pelvic pain, incontinence, or other related conditions.

The goal is not just to offer treatment, but to provide you with a more precise assessment, a more thoughtful plan, and the assurance that you’re in safe hands every step of the way.

Specialized Areas of Focus

Erectile dysfunction and impotence

When you have trouble getting an erection, it’s rarely enough to simply ask what treatments are available. The most important thing is to determine whether the problem is primarily related to blood flow, nerve damage, the pelvic floor, the back, hormones, or other factors.

Shockwave Therapy for Erectile Dysfunction

Shockwave therapy may be appropriate for select patients, but not everyone responds for the same reason or in the same way. For this reason, at MS Insight, shockwave therapy is not used in isolation but as part of a tailored treatment plan.

Ultrasound scanning and clinical evaluation

Ultrasound scanning can in many cases provide important information about tissue, blood flow and relevant structures, making the assessment more precise and the treatment more targeted.

Peyronies, crooked penis and curvature

Peyronies and crooked penis often require more nuance than many people think. Pain, curvature, tissue changes, function and stage of the disease all play a role in what makes sense.

Pelvic pain and pudendal related issues

Persistent pelvic pain and pudendal nerve-related symptoms are often misunderstood or oversimplified. At MS Insight, we focus on taking these symptoms seriously and taking a more structured approach to identifying their possible causes.

Incontinence and Function

Incontinence and related functional impairment often require a more individualized assessment of tissue, tension patterns, neurology, and function.

Do you need help?

Are you unsure about what’s causing your symptoms, or whether a specialized treatment program would be right for you? If so, you can start with a brief, confidential consultation. During this session, we’ll assess whether your symptoms align with the areas I specialize in at MS Insight and determine what the next appropriate step might be.

This initial consultation is not a full consultation, diagnosis, or treatment plan. It’s for those who want a thorough assessment of whether it makes sense to proceed with a more in-depth examination, an ultrasound scan, and a personalized plan.
