Why do prices differ between clinics?

In many places you’ll see a shockwave/EMTT price, big discounts or a free consultation, but that doesn’t necessarily tell you how thorough the assessment is, what technology is used, how much the treatment is customized to the individual, or who you actually meet in the clinic.

At MS Insight, it doesn’t start with package solutions, but with understanding what is most likely driving the symptoms. For some, it’s primarily about blood flow. For others, it’s tissue, plaque, nerves, pelvic floor, spine, hormones or a combination of factors. When the cause isn’t the same, the treatment shouldn’t be either.

The price difference is therefore not just about the number of minutes or the number of treatments. It’s about the difference between a more standardized solution and a more specialized process, where the cause of the symptoms has a greater impact on how treatment is planned.

Financing

Funding is available through Health+.

For many, splitting the payment makes a specialized program more manageable. Financing doesn’t change what the right solution is, but it can make it easier to choose a program that makes clinical sense.

First-time consultation

The initial consultation is the start of a course in the clinic. It provides an accurate assessment of what is behind the symptoms and what makes sense next in terms of treatment.

In many cases, the first treatment can be started on the same day if deemed appropriate. For many, this is the best way to avoid guesswork. Instead of starting a program based on an assumption, you get a more targeted plan from the beginning.

Subsequent treatment

Subsequent treatments are adapted to the plan made during the initial assessment. Here, the relevant tools and technologies are used in a targeted way based on your situation so that the process is no more generic than necessary.

Pelvic chair

Pelvic chair can be used either as a standalone treatment or as a supplement in a combined program with shockwave. When used as part of a combined program, the price is lower. This allows you to put together a more relevant course of treatment when it makes clinical sense.

Sexological therapy

Sexological therapy is for those who want a more in-depth process focusing on sexual function, relationships or mental and emotional factors that play a role in the problem. For some, this is a relevant complement to physical treatment. For others, it is an important part of the solution itself.

Novoglan courses

The Novoglan course is a separate solution with its own pricing structure. If you are unsure whether it is relevant for you, it is recommended to start with a clinical assessment first.

Who does an MS Insight program typically make sense for?

MS Insight is often the right choice for you if you:

Frequently asked questions about pricing

How do I pay at the clinic?

You can pay by mobilepay, bank transfer or cash at the clinic. The clinic does not accept credit cards, and payment is settled after each treatment. Treatment outside opening hours/emergency treatment may be charged at a double rate.

Why are your prices higher than some other clinics?

Because MS Insight pathways are built not just around treatment, but around specialist assessment, targeted use of technology and a more individualized plan.

Cancellation policy and deadline

Cancellations must be made before 17:00 the day before. Late cancellations/no-shows will be charged the full price of the consultation. Cancellations can only be made via the booking system or to michael@msinsight.dk, cancellations via voicemail are not accepted.

Is the most expensive treatment always the right one?

No, it isn’t. The goal is not to choose the most expensive solution, but the most relevant. Therefore, a clinical assessment is recommended first.

Why does a first-time consultation make sense?

Because you get a more accurate assessment of what actually makes sense for you, instead of starting a program based on assumptions or package solutions.

Can I get help with financing?

Yes. Funding is available through Health+.

Prepaid courses and reimbursement

Prepaid courses are not refundable if the course is not completed. The course must be completed within 6 months.

Insurance company coverage?

As a private clinic offering innovative combination treatments at the forefront of shockwave and EMTT research for various conditions, there is rarely coverage through your insurance company.

These effective solutions are often not covered by insurance companies as it doesn’t fit into their standard framework and pricing. And especially not for sexual dysfunctions, unless it’s for a risky surgery. Generally, they will offer you the cheapest possible solution without focusing on the quality of the treatment you need and deserve.

If you want to try to get coverage from your insurance company, you should talk to them before starting the program.

Solutions as it is now are also not offered in the public sector, with coverage from health insurance.
