don&#8217;t work the same way.<\/p><p data-start=\"2323\" data-end=\"2520\">Focused shockwave can penetrate deep into the tissue and precisely target specific structures. This makes it particularly relevant when working on areas such as tumor bodies, nerves or deeper tissue. <\/p><p data-start=\"2522\" data-end=\"2702\">Radial pressure waves work more superficially and cover a wider area. They are often used as a supplement when working with tissues around the pelvis or support functions. <\/p><p data-start=\"2704\" data-end=\"2963\">In addition, there are three different ways to generate focused shockwave &#8211; electromagnetic<a href=\"https:\/\/secma.dk\/shockwave\/\">(Storz Medical)<\/a>, electrohydraulic<a href=\"https:\/\/mts-medical.com\/\">(MTS Medical)<\/a> and piezoelectric<a href=\"https:\/\/www.elvation.de\/\">(Elvation Piezowave)<\/a>. They differ in how the energy is built up and distributed, which affects depth, precision and biological tissue impact. I have all three in the clinic.  <\/p><p data-start=\"2965\" data-end=\"3070\">In practice, this means that the choice of technology and the way it is used is not random; it is a central part of the treatment.<\/p><h2 data-section-id=\"pf4xau\" data-start=\"3077\" data-end=\"3128\"><span role=\"text\"><strong data-start=\"3079\" data-end=\"3128\">Why this approach to shockwave makes a real difference<\/strong><\/span><\/h2><p data-start=\"3130\" data-end=\"3301\">Most clinics work with one type of shockwave and apply it to all problems. This naturally limits how precisely the treatment can be customized.
