Erectile dysfunction impotence can be treated effectively without side effects

Erectile dysfunction impotence should be taken seriously
Erectile dysfunction, impotence or erectile dysfunction, it goes by many names, but this is a condition that needs to be taken seriously.
It has a strong negative impact on a man’s quality of life and self-esteem when erection fails. That’s why it’s important that you or your partner seek the right help. The problem is common, affecting around 50% of men throughout their lives.
It can be the symptom of as yet unknown cardiovascular disease, diabetes, stress, atherosclerosis, nerve damage, hormone disorders or other health problems. Here, the inability to have satisfactory intercourse becomes the symptom. But it can also “just” be a “natural part” of getting older.

A personal account of erectile dysfunction
“Although I’ve always been physically active, eaten healthily and had a good sex life, during my 50s I noticed a slow decline in my ability to get and maintain a good erection. The truth is that the change started earlier, but only became apparent with age.
I’ve never been a big fan of potency medication – although it works quickly and effectively, it didn’t feel like the right solution for me. When I read about Michael and MS Insight, my curiosity was piqued. I took the test and decided to give myself a birthday present: a course of the 6 treatments recommended for erectile dysfunction impotence.
The shockwave treatment itself – targeting the perineum and penis – is completely painless and actually surprisingly pleasant. It feels like light tingles and waves and you quickly get used to it.
If you can put aside the mental barrier and accept that taking your pants off is no more uncomfortable than opening your mouth at the dentist, the treatment becomes almost routine. Michael is very professional and makes the whole situation feel comfortable and relaxed around erectile dysfunction impotence. I have felt comfortable with every single treatment.
After the 6 sessions, I noticed a clear improvement – both in the ability to get an erection and in how often it happened spontaneously. It’s a pleasure to wake up in the morning and feel natural again – and even better to share it with my boyfriend.
For me, it’s been worth every penny. And if one day I feel that the effect is wearing off, I could easily come back in a few years for a refresher.”
What is erectile dysfunction impotence?
Erectile dysfunction impotence is not a question of either the man can get an erection or he can’t. There are many degrees of erectile dysfunction, just as there are many reasons why it occurs.
It can cover being able to get an erection, make penetration, but having difficulty maintaining it to complete intercourse.
It can also be being able to get an erection, but not hard enough to be useful.
It can occur after prostate surgery or as a result of peyronie’s disease.
It could also be that the problems occur in certain situations. For example, it can be only with a partner, but always fully functional alone.
Erectile dysfunction impotence can therefore have both physical and psychological causes. They can also occur in combination, where they reinforce each other and reduce erection.
In general, the incidence of erectile dysfunction impotence will increase throughout life as age has an impact on the function of the body and thus the penis.
There are different ways to treat the problems. Based on your general health, medical history, ultrasound scans and the degree of erectile dysfunction, we will find the best solution in the clinic for you.

What are common causes of erectile dysfunction throughout life?
Erectile dysfunction can affect men of all ages and the causes are often complex. It can be a mix of physical, hormonal and psychological factors. It’s a common misconception that it’s primarily about age.
In reality, many other elements come into play, such as lifestyle, stress levels, health conditions and hormonal balance. All of these factors, individually or in combination, can affect the ability to achieve and maintain a satisfactory erection.
Impotence erectile dysfunction in younger men (20-40 years)
In younger men, erectile dysfunction is often caused by a combination of psychological influences and lifestyle-related habits. Pressure from studies, work or relationships can create performance anxiety and affect confidence in bed.
The mental aspect therefore plays a major role. In addition, overuse of alcohol, drugs or performance enhancers such as steroids can have a negative effect on erectile function. However, if problems persist, you should always investigate whether there could be an underlying physical cause.
Erectile dysfunction impotence inmiddle-aged men (40-60 years)
During this stage of life, physical health problems are more common. Chronic conditions such as type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease can impair blood flow to the penis, making erection more difficult.
In addition, certain medications that you may be taking for these conditions can cause side effects that interfere with sexual function. Diet, exercise, sleep and stress levels also play an important role in the overall assessment.
Erectile dysfunction impotence in older men (60+ years)
In men over 60, erectile dysfunction is more likely to be caused by long-term illnesses, medication use or age-related changes in the body. Heart disease, diabetes and neurological disorders – for example, as a result of stroke or surgery – can have a significant impact.
In addition, many experience a gradual change in hormonal balance, which can also play a role. For many, there is also a mental dimension where changes in the body affect self-image and sexual confidence.
Erectile dysfunction impotence treatment
Erectile dysfunction can be common. But that doesn’t mean you have to put up with them or accept them as a natural part of life. Fortunately, there are a wide range of effective and gentle treatment options available today.
MS Insight uses modern technologies such as shockwave and EMTT. In combination with realistic lifestyle changes, it can improve blood circulation. This will promote tissue healing and restore erectile function in a natural way.
Why does reduced blood flow to the penis cause erectile dysfunction and impotence?
For an erection to occur and be maintained, it requires a fine-tuned interplay between nerve signals, blood vessels, hormones and psychological mechanisms.
The most common physiological cause of erectile impotence is reduced blood flow to the penis. A condition known as vascular erectile dysfunction.
To achieve a satisfactory and lasting erection, it is crucial that the blood supply to the cavernous bodies of the penis is sufficient. If the blood does not flow freely, the erection will either be weak or not happen at all.
Lifestyle impact on impotence erectile dysfunction
A number of lifestyle factors, known as KRAM factors, have a major impact on vascular health:
Diet: A high intake of sugar, processed foods and saturated fatty acids increases the risk of atherosclerosis. When blood vessels slowly become clogged, including those supplying the penis, the chances of erectile dysfunction and impotence increase
Smoking: Nicotine damages the function of blood vessels and reduces the ability of blood to reach peripheral areas, including the penis. Get help to quit smoking
Alcohol: Overconsumption of alcohol can negatively affect both the central nervous system and hormone balance, which can impair erectile function. Get help to reduce alcohol consumption
Exercise: A sedentary lifestyle without regular physical activity can lead to reduced blood circulation, increased risk of obesity and the development of diseases such as type 2 diabetes. Factors that can have a direct impact on sexual function. Unfortunately, this is a common problem in Denmark in relation to erectile dysfunction and impotence.

How the most thorough examination for erectile dysfunction in the Nordics works
An erectile dysfunction impotence study that makes a difference.
We start with an open conversation in a confidential setting. Here we’ll find out if your erectile dysfunction is constant or situational. This gives me important insights into the underlying causes.
I always recommend that your doctor is involved – to ensure that blood levels and any diseases such as diabetes and heart problems are under control. If you feel your doctor is not supportive, I can order the necessary tests for erectile dysfunction impotence.
Next, I perform a targeted examination and ultrasound scan of the penis and pelvic floor. We look at blood flow, tissue quality and the condition of the pelvic floor, two key factors for erectile function. I also screen the heart, as impaired pump function may be part of the cause. If necessary, we also check for prostate enlargement.
With the Inbody770 machine, we get an accurate picture of your body composition. In particular, we look at muscle mass, body fat percentage and visceral fat. At the same time, I assess your spine, which can affect pelvic function and thus erection.
Then we’ll work together to create a treatment plan and guide you on the things you can do to improve your erectile dysfunction impotence.
I go deep because it makes a difference. And if you need lifestyle and dietary support, I work with specialists – so we cover the whole spectrum of your erection.
Shockwave treatment for erectile dysfunction impotence works

Take the test and find out how bad your erectile dysfunction impotence is
What does it mean for you in your treatment process?
Shockwave and EMTT work for erectile dysfunction impotence
It’s important that you feel confident that the treatment works for erectile dysfunction. That’s why I continuously track your progress and develop treatments based on a growing data base.
I know what results you can expect based on your situation and lifestyle. The more you engage in the treatment and take responsibility, the better the results will be.
For mild problems, we often see effects that last up to two years, as long as the lifestyle does not deteriorate. For more severe problems, there is typically a good effect for the first 6-12 months. After that, the results can be maintained with a few follow-up treatments.
In short: Regardless of severity, both my clinical data and international studies show that shockwave works. I am currently the only one in Denmark to systematically document the effect, for the benefit of you and future clients.
What are the psychological causes of erectile impotence?
Mental factors that often cause erectile dysfunction can be many. Here are just a few of the most common ones seen in the clinic.
Stress and especially performance anxiety are among the most common psychological causes. When you feel under pressure, the body’s stress response is activated. This leads to increased production of cortisol and adrenaline, hormones that inhibit blood flow to the penis leading to erectile impotence.
Depression can also be a key cause. It reduces sex drive and disrupts the signals the brain sends to the body during arousal, and many antidepressants and beta-blockers can make the problem worse. Some men experience problems shortly after starting the medication.
Previous bad sexual experiences and low self-esteem often play a role. Shame and fear of disappointing a partner creates tension. This can lead to a negative spiral where worries prevent enjoyment and relaxation during sex.
Relationship issues can also present challenges. A lack of closeness and emotional connection often affects sexuality. Unresolved conflicts and poor communication can create distance – both emotionally and physically – and cause erectile dysfunction.

How does shockwave treatment work for erectile dysfunction impotence?
Focused shockwave and EMTT are at the heart of a treatment program at MS Insight for erectile dysfunction impotence. The treatments stimulate blood vessel growth, tissue regeneration and nerve activity in the area. All so you get a better erection.
Then you can reduce or stop using the blue pill altogether. The specific treatment protocol and dose is always customized to your erectile dysfunction impotence, as no two men are the same. Therefore, I can also help you if you have diabetes or you no longer respond to the blue pill. Often, the treatment can also alleviate symptoms of incontinence after prostate surgery.
Treatment in the clinic is supplemented with advice and various lifestyle measures that can further enhance the effect of treatment. All of which we discuss together at the first examination.
In cases where high stress levels are the primary driver of your erectile dysfunction, I can regulate stress levels with the NESA X treatment.
If your problems are more psychological, as a sexologist I can help you find the right tools.
How does shockwave and EMTT treatment work?
Effective treatment with focused shockwave and EMTT for erectile dysfunction impotence
Shockwave therapy is an advanced method where the penis and perineum are treated with focused sound waves. The aim is to increase blood flow and stimulate new blood vessels, both important for a strong and lasting erection.
The treatment also loosens tense muscles in the pelvic floor. This further improves blood flow and supports a more natural function.
The treatment itself lasts 20-30 minutes and is gentle. Most people only feel a slight tingling sensation. It is painless and without side effects, a safe choice for men of all ages. Depending on the degree of erectile dysfunction and impotence, 6-12 treatments are given.
You are welcome to bring your partner. Many find it supportive and positive for the treatment process.
I always combine shockwave with EMTT, a technology that increases blood vessel growth and stimulates nerves around the pelvic floor. The combination gives a stronger effect, especially in diabetes, medication side effects and more severe cases.

FAQ about erectile dysfunction impotence
Why is it important to take erectile dysfunction impotence seriously?
Erectile dysfunction impotence is not only a sexual disorder, but also a marker of one’s overall health.
Many men will experience erectile dysfunction many years before they are diagnosed with cardiovascular disease or diabetes, making it an important warning that should be fully investigated.
The biggest link between erectile dysfunction impotence and overall health is found in the function of the heart and blood vessels. It is often a sign of endothelial dysfunction – a condition where blood vessels lose their ability to dilate properly. This is one of the first signs of cardiovascular disease and can indicate an increased risk of heart attack and stroke.
Research shows that men with erectile dysfunction have a 1.25 to 1.5 times higher risk of developing cardiovascular disease compared to men without impotence. Studies also show that a large proportion of men with erectile dysfunction have undetected atherosclerosis, which increases the risk of life-threatening heart problems.
Why do you get erectile dysfunction after prostate cancer surgery?
After prostate cancer surgery, we often see erectile dysfunction is a common side effect. The reason for this is that the nerve tissue around the prostate is often damaged, even if nerve-preserving surgery is performed.
At the same time, scar tissue can develop, which can affect the elasticity of the pelvic floor. And in the worst case scenario, in addition to erectile dysfunction, there may be curvature of the penis and problems retaining water. (incontinence)
Can erectile dysfunction after prostate surgery be treated?
To minimize and potentially avoid these problems, it is important to start treatment and training soon after surgery. Ideally within the first 6 months for the best chance of success.
Here, shockwave therapy and EMTT can play a crucial role in restoring erectile function and continence in the first year after surgery. This treatment can often be combined with medication or injections to optimize results and help you maintain satisfactory sexual function.
The clinic’s experience with erectile dysfunction after prostate surgery
In my experience, the biggest improvements are seen in those who start treatment soon after surgery, which increases the chances of regaining good erectile ability and function.
Shockwave therapy has now also been introduced at Odense University Hospital, where, as in my clinic, they have observed an increased effect on nerve tissue regeneration. They have started treatment as early as three weeks after surgery, provided that all cancerous tissue has been removed.
Although early treatment gives the best results, I also see positive effects in clients who start treatment several years after their surgery, but this will require a more specialized course.
What physical elements can help reduce erectile dysfunction?
The importance of diet
An unhealthy diet can contribute to inflammation and oxidative stress, both of which damage blood vessels. Studies show that a Mediterranean diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, fish and healthy fats can significantly improve erectile function. Men who follow a Mediterranean diet have a lower incidence of erectile dysfunction and improved blood flow.
Physical activity
Exercise is one of the most effective ways to improve erectile dysfunction. Regular physical activity strengthens the heart, improves blood circulation and reduces inflammation. Studies show that men who exercise 160 minutes a week for six months experience a significant improvement in their erection performance. Exercise should include both cardio (running, cycling) and strength training.
The importance of sleep
Sleep disorders such as sleep apnea and chronic sleep deprivation are strongly associated with erectile dysfunction. Sleep regulates hormones in the body that are essential for sexual function. One study showed that men with obstructive sleep apnea are twice as likely to develop erectile dysfunction as men without. Good sleep hygiene and treatment of sleep disorders can therefore be an important part of the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
Stress levels and erectile dysfunction impotence
Chronic stress and anxiety negatively affect both hormone balance and blood circulation. Mindfulness, meditation and psychotherapy have been shown to be effective in reducing stress and improving sexual function. One study showed that men with erectile dysfunction who participated in a stress management program experienced significantly lower stress levels and better erection performance compared to those who only took medication.

What treatments are available for erectile dysfunction?
At MS Insight, I offer a wide range of the latest and most effective treatment options for erectile dysfunction. Every man is unique, which is why I tailor the treatment to your individual needs and health condition. Here is an overview of the different treatments we offer:
Physical activity guide
Regular physical activity is an important component in maintaining a healthy erectile function. Exercise improves blood circulation, reduces stress and helps maintain a healthy body weight – all factors that contribute to better sexual function. We advise on which forms of exercise are most effective for you and how you can integrate them into your daily life.
Vacuum pump
A vacuum pump is an effective and non-invasive tool that can help you achieve an erection. By creating a vacuum around the penis, blood flow is increased, resulting in an erection. This method can be particularly useful for men who want an alternative solution to medication or surgery. We offer guidance on the correct use of the vacuum pump to ensure optimal effect and comfort. Especially after prostate surgery, this can be beneficial.
Shockwave and EMTT
Shockwave therapy and EMTT (Electromagnetic Transduction Therapy) are some of the most advanced treatment options available today. Shockwave therapy stimulates blood vessel growth and improves blood circulation in the penis, while EMTT increases tissue elasticity and promotes the release of growth factors that are essential for a good erection. The combination of these technologies can significantly improve erectile performance, even in men who have experienced significant challenges with erectile dysfunction.
Sexological therapy
Psychological factors often play a major role in erectile dysfunction, which is why we also offer sexological therapy as part of our treatment package. As a sexologist, I help you deal with performance anxiety, self-esteem issues, and other emotional barriers that can affect your sexual function. Therapy can be a powerful way to break the vicious cycle of negative thoughts and feelings that can worsen erectile dysfunction.
Stem cells (not offered in clinic)
Stem cell therapy is an innovative and experimental method being studied for its potential to restore erectile function by regenerating damaged tissue. Although I do not offer stem cell therapy in my clinic, I keep up-to-date on the latest advances in this field and can advise you on the options if relevant to you.
Injections or pills (available from your GP)
Injections and pills, such as PDE-5 inhibitors, are common treatments for erectile dysfunction. Although I don’t offer them directly in the clinic, I can provide you with information and guidance on how they work, as well as refer you to the right specialists if you are considering this type of treatment.
Surgery (pump insertion, not offered in the clinic)
In some cases, a surgical solution, such as insertion of a penis pump, may be the most effective treatment option. This is a last resort when all else has been tried and failed.
This procedure involves the implantation of a pump that can manually create an erection by moving fluid within the penis. Although we do not perform this surgery in the clinic, we can help you understand the process and refer you to the best specialists if you are considering this procedure.
